About Fawndoon Books

Fawndoon Books was set up in 2016 to produce and publish high-quality illustrated books on specialist subjects such as the history of bus operations in the UK.

Twenty Turbulent Years is our fifth title, and follows four other widely-acclaimed books - Scotland’s Buses in the 1960s (2016), Advancing in a Forward Direction (2017), Glasgow’s Buses (2018) and London’s Bus Purchases 1946-1994 (2019). All our books are produced to the same high standard, with striking photographic reproduction, stylish modern design and informed, detailed content.

Not all our books will be about the bus industry. We will also be focusing on other photogenic subjects such as the built landscape. Please check our website in future for news of further publications.

Distribution

We do not distribute our books directly to the book trade, but instead work through a key partner specialising in book distribution. If you are a book retailer or wholesaler and would like to know more about placing orders, please go to our contact page and let us know your requirements. We will be delighted to discuss terms.
